Valencia CF will host cross-town opposition Levante UD on Matchday 28 at Mestalla at 10 pm kick-off time. The match will have a different feel to it as it will be held behind closed doors with no fans in attendance. However, traditional aspects such as music, fan noise and the stadium MC will be present over the loudspeaker system and both sets of fans have put items on their seats such as scarves and flags.
The match will observe a minute's silence ahead of kick-off and a minute's "infinite" applause on the 20th minute in memory of the COVID-19. Both sides have united to send out a message in the face of adversity “LevantemosValencia” let’s lift Valencia CF and Levante UD come into this game following a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite having togetherness at the heart of it, Albert Celades’ will be looking to take all three points to keep moving up the LaLiga table and keep their home record. Valencia CF lie seventh in the table only four points off the Champions League places on 42 points and as far as statistics are concerned, Levante UD are yet to win at Mestalla and lie 13th in the table on 33 points.
